Coeliac Disease
Gluten is the protein component of wheat, spelt, rye, barley and oats. In people with coeliac disease, gluten causes damage to the lining of the small intestine (villi). As a result, the ability to absorb nutrients is impaired and people can become very unwell.
Following a gluten free diet doesn’t mean you have to deprive yourself of delicious food and proper nutrition.

Fructose Malabsorption
This food intolerance effects the ability to absorb fructose, a naturally occurring sugar found in many foods. Symptoms of this intolerance include: abdominal bloating, cramps, constipation loose stools, diarrea and flatulence.Foods containing fructans (a food molecule that is a chain of fructose sugars joined together) can also cause symptoms. Problem foods include honey, apples, pears, mangoes, onions, spring onions, leek, wheat, artichokes, beetroot, fennel.
